Barbette

Created in 2001, Barbette is a full-service neighborhood restaurant and wine bar. The receipient of numerous awards, Barbette is perhaps most known for its vibrant atmosphere and incredible food. The restaurant is one of the few Uptown restaurants that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night dining each and every day of the week.

A festive sidewalk cafe with flower boxes, umbrella cover, and lights in the trees is a popular outdoor retreat. Barbette occassionally hosts live music and puts on several events throughout the year, most notably its Bastille Day celebration.

The restaurant is located on the northwest corner of Lake Street and Irving Avenue.

Parking: Free off-street parking is available behind Barbette, accessed off of Irving Avenue. On-street metered parking is available on W. Lake Street.

Transit: Bus routes 6, 12, 17, 21, 23, and 53 provide regular service in the area.
