Development: Northface - Uptown, Minneapolis


	The North Face Soon to replace the UPS Store and Tibet's Corner will be The North Face. The two story building just south of Lake Street on Hennepin's west side will make way for a new one-story building. The one-story building will feature very high ceilings so that a second floor within the building could be added at a later time.		(Opens in New Window)



	August 11, 2007: Construction began in July for the new The North Face store, which should open in November 2007. July 3, 2007: In early June, Master began demolition of the existing commercial structure on the site. Construction of the new building appears to have begun. October 10th, 2006: North Face will be entering the Uptown market in 2007 or early 2008. The retailer has signed a lease.
